This is an exceptional vintage Navajo nugget turquoise necklace. This is one of the biggest and heaviest nugget necklaces we have collected this year. The turquoise appears to be from the impressive and rare Gilbert turquoise mine. I absolutely love how situated throughout the large nuggets are smaller turquoise nugget stones. The largest nugget measures a whopping 1-3/4" X 3/4" X 1/2". Located at each end are amazing torpedo shaped silver beads with a traditional silver clasp. Sterling silver. Cir. Mid century . The length of the necklace measures around 27". Sturdy 488 grams.
