This is a tremendous vintage Navajo turquoise and silver concho belt. This wonderful belt consists of 8 outstanding large oval shaped silver conchos with each concho containing a center Blue Gem turquoise stone. Each beautiful concho measures a whopping 3" X 2-1/2". Surrounding the conchos are impeccable silver works that include sun stampings, channel works, ropes and repoussed shells. The intricacy and detailing of this magnificent belt is just fascinating. The buckle of the belt is a wonderful large rectangular shaped buckle that measures around 3-1/4" X 2-5/8" and consists of more outstanding silver works and two more remarkable Royston turquoise stones. The belt consists of a very thick and wide leather belt. The total length of this belt measures around 41-1/4" so it will fit any waist up to 41". The stones measure around 3/8" x 3/8". Sterling silver. Cir. Mid century . Sturdy 562 grams.
