This is an astonishing vintage Navajo single stone silver squash blossom necklace. This fascinating necklace contains 16 outstanding handmade large silver squashes that each consist of star stampings within diamond stampings and accenting silver sun stampings. Resting at the bottom of the necklace is a large sturdy double silver shank naja pendant that measures a whopping 4" X 2-1/2". Located on the naja pendant is a wonderful large chunky Morenci turquoise stone with a surrounding thick silver rope. Also located on the naja pendant near the top are amazing deep sun stampings. The amount of handmade large round silver beads located on this necklace are impressive and so amazing with each measuring around 3/8" in diameter and having a traditional silver clasp. Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1970's+. Signed by Navajo artist, Christopher Hale. The length of the necklace measures around 34-1/2". Sturdy 204 grams.
