This is a museum quality vintage Navajo turquoise nickle concho belt. This fascinating belt consists of 8 impressive large nickle conchos that each consist of a center chunky Royston turquoise stone. Each concho measures a whopping 3" X 2-1/2". Located throughout the concho are fabulous patterns that consist of sun works, dotted works, sun patterns and repoussed shells. What I absolutely love about this concho belt are the incredible hand cut leather pieces that are behind each concho. Each of the large chunky turquoise stones measure around 1/2" X 3/8". The buckle on the belt consists of a large rectangular shaped buckle that measures a phenomenal 4-1/8" X 3". Located on the buckle are more wonderful stamp works that include line segments, dotted works, sun works, teepee patterns and repoussed shells. Located on the buckle are four more incredible Royston turquoise stones. Nickel and sterling silver. Cir. 1970's+. This belt will fit a waist size between 30-1/2" and 45". Sturdy 552 grams.
