This is a tremendous vintage Navajo turquoise silver concho belt. This remarkable belt contains 8 outstanding large rounded sun pattern silver conchos. Each of the 8 conchos measure a whopping 2-3/4" in diameter. Located in the center of each concho are beautiful rectangular shaped Old Kingman turquoise stones that measure around 1/2" X 3/8". Bordering each of the conchos are marvelous silver works that include teepee patterns, channel works and dotted patterns. The impressive large rectangular shaped silver buckle on this belt measures around 3" X 2-1/4". The buckle contains two more beautiful Old Kingman turquoise stones. The silver works on the buckle include sun bursting patterms, dotted works, teepee patterns, and repoussed shells. This belt is absolutely impeccable and so phenomenal with a thick wide brown leather belt. Signed by Navajo artist, Arland Ben. Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1970's+. This belt will fit a waist size between 36" and 45". Sturdy 555 grams.
