This is a museum quality vintage Navajo large turquoise and silver concho belt. This phenomenal belt contains 8 beautiful silver conchos and a large silver buckle. Each of the conchos measure around 2-3/4" X 2-1/4" and the large silver buckle measures around 3-5/8" X 2-5/8". Situated in the center of each concho and buckle are beautiful chunky Red Mountain turquoise stones. Surrounding the edges of the shadowbox setting are remarkable silver works that include sun stampings, dotted works and bordering thick silver rope. The average turquoise stone measures around 1/2" X 1/4". Signed by Navajo artist, BW. Sterling silver. Cir. 1960's+. This belt will fit a waist size between 28" and 35". Sturdy 501 grams.
