This is an exquisite vintage Navajo silver bolo tie. This remarkable bolo contains a phenomenal hand carved 3D turquoise bear pattern that measures around 1" X 3/4". The intricacy silver works that surround the bolo is just fascinating consisting of crown patterns, flowers, and rope patterns. The way the artist made the mouth of the bear be more silver crowned pattern is just amazing. The bolo measures around 2" X 1-3/8". Resting at the bottom of the black leather tie are long silver cones with accenting dangling turquoise pieces. Signed by Navajo artist, Lons Deyske. Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1970's+.
