This is an astonishing Zuni inlaid dancing kachina large silver bolo tie. What I absolutely love about this bolo is that not only is it large but it is also one of the most intricate and detailed inlaid bolos we have collected this year. The intricacy of the inlaid stones and shells is just impeccable including turquoise, spiny oyster, pink coral, yellow shell, mother of pearl, onyx and coral. Some of the stones and shells on the bolo are carved giving the piece that much more character. The dancing kachina is holding two slithering silver snakes as he is dancing, AMAZING workmanship. The bolo measures a whopping 5-5/8" X 3". Resting at the bottom of the 45" black leather tie are silver cones with accenting dangling turquoise stones, onyx stones, and mother of pearl shells. This bolo contains an outstanding incredible inlaid silver stand that the bolo can be placed on to be beautifully displayed. Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1970's+. Sturdy 88 grams.
